Registration & Forms
Enrollment Process
Enrollment begins in January. Each child must be registered for a minimum of two weeks which do not need to be consecutive. Enrollment may be extended on a weekly basis if space is available. Space in the program is limited with most weeks selling out for the past several years.
Enrollment forms can be downloaded from our website or picked up at the office.
ALL of the following information must be completed and returned to our office before your registration will be considered complete and then processed and your camper’s space reserved. Incomplete registration packets will not be accepted and you will be in jeopardy of not getting into the camp sessions you need:
- $250 non-refundable deposit (will be applied to tuition)
- Registration form
- DCH Pick-up & Emergency Contact Form
- DCH Medical History Form
- A copy of your child's most recent physical
Tuition must be paid in full by June 1st.
If you register your child for 5 or more weeks of camp, you may pay half the cost by June 1st and full payment by July 1st.
No child will be accepted at camp whose tuition is past due and all tuition payments are non-refundable.
There is a $25 fee for all returned checks.
Field Trip Registration
As part of the enrollment process parents have the opportunity to pre-register their campers for any or all of the field trips. Less than 50% of the camp attends each trip as space is limited and most families choose just some of the trips. Registering early is recommended to secure your camper’s spot on all of their favorite trips. Space is usually limited to 80 campers. If a trip is closed we will start a waitlist in the event of changes. Campers back at camp on field trip days enjoy a full, fun-filled day of camp activities.
Once again space is limited and pre-registration is recommended. The Field Trip Registration Form is required, ALONG WITH PAYMENT, for your camper’s spot on a trip to be secured. All trips are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Spaces cannot be held without the registration form AND payment.
Camp Financial Aid Information
Limited Financial Aid is available for our summer camp program each summer. We give out the bulk of our financial aid through the Dedham Public School Adjustment Counselors at ECEC, Avery, Greendlodge, Oakdale, Riverdale and the Dedham Middle School. If you are a Dedham resident please contact your school's adjustment counselor to express your interest regarding DCH financial aid. Information will be sent to the adjustment counselors by mid-March regarding allotted scholarship weeks. If you are not a Dedham resident or do not receive any financial aid from the schools please fill out the form to the right and return it to DCH along with all of the camp registration paperwork. This year we have two financial aid review periods and parents can expect notification shortly after the review date. The two dates are:
