Preschool Programs

 

Creative Movement

Children work with imagery and music to develop coordination, motor skills and social interaction. Children build self-esteem, confidence and an appreciation of music, movement and imagination. Ages: 3-5. Half-hour class offered fall, winter and spring on a weekday afternoon.

 

Preschool Soccer

This class introduces and teaches your little one the basics of soccer, including rules and basic skills such as dribbling, passing and shooting. Players are sure to have a blast while learning the great sport of soccer! All Preschool Sports classes need 6 players in order to run. Ages 3-5. Class offered fall, winter and spring with weekday evening and Saturday morning options.

 

Preschool T Ball

In this class your child will learn the fundamentals needed for baseball and softball. We cover the basic rules and skills including keeping your eye on the ball, fielding and base running. Nobody strikes out and everyone hits home runs! All Preschool Sports classes need 6 players in order to run. Ages 3-5. Class offered fall, winter and spring with weekday evening and Saturday morning options.

 

Preschool Basketball

This class introduces your child to the basics of basketball. Players will learn basketball fundamentals like dribbling, passing and shooting as well as basic rules. In this class having fun is sure to be a slam dunk! All Preschool Sports classes need 6 players in order to run. Ages 3-5. Class offered fall, winter and spring with weekday evening and Saturday morning options.

 

Preschool Multi Sports

Players in this class will get a chance to have a quick taste of all the sports we offer! The kids will learn the basics of a variety of sports including soccer, t-ball, basketball and more! All Preschool Sports classes need 6 players in order to run. Ages 3-5. Class offered fall, winter and spring with weekday evening and Saturday morning options.

 

Parent Time

Dedham Parent Time, a network that connects local families to one another and community resources, is dedicated to bringing parents and children (birth through age six) together for times of friendship, learning and fun. Dedham Parent Time is a program of Dedham Shines, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit dedicated to fostering a vibrant community through programs that cultivate civic engagement and support for art, education and culture.  DPT is supported by the Dedham Community House through collaboration and the donation of space for playtimes and events. For more information on how to join Dedham Parent Time visit HERE.
