We are thrilled to announce that we will open our summer day camp in 2021.
While we do not know all the details about the logistics for camp this summer, we are committed to making camp a fun and safe environment for all of our campers and staff. We are anticipating new regulations in March and hope to make final plans in April. We will keep you updated as the overall picture of what camp will look like comes more into focus.
Here is what we are expecting. Like everything right now, this is subject to change as camp gets closer and final regulations are released:
We will offer week-long sessions of camp from June 14 - September 3. We will have limited capacity -- please register early.
- Our camp day will run from 8:45am - 4:30pm. Extended day will be available from 7:30-8:45am and 4:30-5:45pm.
- The majority of our camp day will take place outdoors. (Rec room and woodshop will be indoors but with a limited number of campers at a time.)
- As of now we do plan to cancel camp in the event of extreme weather. How this will happen, in what circumstances, and refund policies are TBD.
- We will offer swim lessons and free swim.
- Masks will be required for any time campers cannot be distant from each other. Camp staff will be wearing masks all day.
- Camp groups will not mix throughout the day. Campers will remain in their pod during the camp day and extended care.
- We will not offer field trips this year but have some special on-campus activities planned.
- We will offer some unique program activities this year and more specialists.
- As always, we offer financial aid and accept state vouchers.
Unfortunately at this time we have had to pause on our Teen Camp for this upcoming summer. With the current restrictions we do not have the space to run both programs on campus and would have a difficult time offering the same exciting experience for our teens (field trips, community service, etc.). We look forward to bringing our Teen Camp back as soon as we can.
